Frequent Questions
Do You Only See Couples?
No! I love working with individuals too. Have a look around and if you think I’d be the right fit for you, let’s chat.
Where Are You Located?
Our practice locations include the states of New York, Connecticut, Vermont and Florida .
I Want To Come To Counseling, But My Partner Isn’t Interested. Will You See Me Alone?
That’s actually very common. Most of the time, partners are resistant because they think I’m just going to tell them that everything is their fault. If you can get them in for just the first session, I can take care of the rest. If they are unwilling to come in I would be happy to meet with you alone.
How Long Does Therapy Last?
As short as possible and as long as it takes. I consider myself a brief therapist, so I want to give you what you need and get you on your way. Most of my clients are able to see progress within a few short months.
Do You Take Insurance?
While I do not participate as an in-network provider, I am happy to provide you with an out-of-network claim for you as a courtesy.
Are We Just Going To Pay You To Argue In Front Of You?
Absolutely not. While it’s important for me to get a glimpse of what your arguments look like, I don’t let couples just duke it out for an hour. That sounds awful for everyone.
Do You Have Evening Appointments Available?
While I do my best work in the mornings and early afternoons, I do have some evening slots available. They typically book up weeks in advance, so if you have any flexibility in your schedule, I can fit you in much sooner
